Life… Is Good… In The Center Of It All

Special Interests

With so many things to do right here in the middle of Michigan we wanted to highlight some special interest activities and places which make visiting Mount Pleasant distinctive.

If you’re looking to honor those who have fought for our freedom, our area proudly displays multiple war memorials throughout the town. Or perhaps you’re looking to get closer to nature; try visiting the Florence Maxwell bird sanctuary or get local at the Farmer’s Market through the summer months. Similar to the Farmer’s Market, yet unique in its own, Greentree Co-op is where you’ll find the best in organic, local produce all year long and many locally made brews and wines.

Being in the sweet center of Michigan is in part because of all the sweet maple syrup. Try visiting Doodle’s Sugar Bush for your own sweet, locally made maple syrup.
